GLENN CARDWELL HERITAGE MUSEUM

The museum came into being because of a strong desire on the part of the town of Pittman Center to showcase the cultural heritage associated with the area.

The museum is located in the Pittman Center Elementary School which is a public school owned and operated by the Sevier County Board of Education.  Seeing a museum in a public school is not the norm, but exception.

Visiting Hours

During school hours, you will need to sign-in in the office using your driver’s license to view the museum.

In the summer, the museum is open by appointment only.  Please call the school for an appointment at (865) 436-4515.
