Mrs. Carrie Gumlick - Principal

Mrs. Gumlick has an educational career that spans close to two decades. Prior to her appointment as interim principal of Pittman Center Elementary, she served as one of the school system's lead teachers in technology from 2014-2020. She also worked at Pittman Center from 2002 through 2014 as a language arts teacher in the middle grades and as a fifth grade teacher in the Hamilton County School System. Carrie is married to her husband Brian and has three children, Caleb, Cole, and Brilee.

Mrs. Sarah Cheek- Assistant Principal

Mrs. Sarah Cheek began her teaching career in 2007 at Pi Beta Phi Elementary School where she spent fourteen years teaching Kindergarten and first grade. Prior to moving into the role of Assistant Principal, Sarah taught Kindergarten at Pittman Center. Sarah is married to her husband Nathan and has two children, Sadie and Bennett.
